Andddd they're gone. Replaced with a Naz's. Now I'm not going to knock Naz because I've visited their other locations many many times, but I'm sure going to miss Kabul.... the toppings bar was amazing. Being able to add things like feta, sweet peppers, chickpeas etc really elevated the establishment over other halal restaurants. It was fun while it lasted, good luck to the former owner. Will provide a review on the new Naz once thier page is approved.

Unfortunately Kabul's is no longer here, replaced by Naz halal. We were loyal customers of Kabuls and the food was great as well as the service. We tried the new place today and were instantly missing Kabuls. The man behind the counter was nice enough, but the food wasn't nearly as good as Kabuls. Didn't taste as fresh, seemed like we were given less chicken and salad was wilty, despite the $2 price hike. I'm sorry chicken over rice should not be $10. Guess that's paying for the unnecessary renovations and marble countertops.

I've eaten here a number of times. Staff is friendly, prices are fair and food is great. I usually get the falafel wrap. I like the fact that you can pick your fillings as they make it. Definitely recommend!

If you want consistently friendly service and good food at a reasonable price... go to Kabul Halal Grill! Picture a smaller version of a Subway layout where you choose your meat, vegetables and sauce to either go on your gyro, salad or rice platter. Their falafel is absolutely delicious and when I ordered it came out well done and who I think is the owner offered to remake it without me saying anything but I told him I like it well done and it was totally fine. Ate it with their tzaziki sauce and a housemade hot sauce that was super hot but tasty. A little goes a long way! The lamb is tender and flavorful. It's cubed instead of sliced but still good. The fish is outstanding and my favorite over rice. There's a few tables for dining in and bathroom was clean. This has definitely become one of my go to places for something quick and fresh to eat.

Patchogue now has a Halal place! My heart is full and my town is now complete as far as I'm concerned. Located in a little strip mall on East Main St, it's not much to look at and could be missed if you're not from the area. Inside is also pretty bare bones but man, the food is fantastic and that's really why you're there anyway. Offering up all sorts of gyros, salads, and combo platters, you'll have a hard time picking just one thing. My first time here I ended up with lamb over salad (new year, new me). You're able to add in all sorts of things like cucumber salad, olives, onion, feta, etc.. and the amount they give you is enough for two meals for only 8.99! My sister ended up with chicken over salad which was also huge, and the fiancé got standard combo platter over rice. Everything we got was delicious, fresh, and hot! Plus for the price, you can't beat it. It's more of a take out kinda joint but there are quite a few tables there to sit and eat if you wanted. Can't wait to come back and try something else!
